The battlefield
is your weapon.

Everything is destructible. Build cover in a keypress, carve your own angles, drill through walls and crater the ground mid-fight. No two rounds on Ironworks end on the same map.

Fight for more
than the kill.

Every match on Ironworks is a war for resources. Hold the map, feed your robots, build the bomb, and blow the enemy crystal wide open.

Take the sites

Three resource sites anchor Ironworks: the Foundry for Alloy, the Ore Chamber for Volatile Ore, the Reactor Yard for Aether. Outnumber them in the ring to flip it, then dig in and hold it while your robots cash in.

Blue worker robots haul cargo through the Transfer Yard while blue escorts fire on red raiders at golden hour.

Protect the haul

Five worker robots per team mine your sites and haul the cargo home. Guard the route, hunt theirs, and blow a crater under their convoy.

A blue carrier holds the gold Breach Bomb under the CRYSTAL / WORKSHOP sign as his squad moves out of the base.

Build the bomb

Spend 30 Alloy, 30 Volatile Ore and 30 Aether at your base workshop to build the Breach Bomb.

Crack the casing

Fight the bomb into their base and plant it on the crystal casing.

The red crystal stands exposed after the breach as the blue squad pours fire into it and crystal shards burst away.

Shatter the crystal

One detonation strips their casing for good. Now pour everything into the exposed crystal before they turn it around.

What is BLOCKFIRE?

An 8v8 team shooter set in fully destructible voxel arenas. Build cover in a keypress, carve your own sightlines, drill through walls and blow craters in the ground while you fight for objectives.

How do playtests work?

Join the list with your email. We send invites in waves ahead of each session. Your invite link sets up your account in one step and unlocks the Windows download. Launch the game, hit PLAY OFFICIAL, approve the sign-in in your browser and you’re in the fight.

Is it free?

Yes. Playtests are free to join.

What platforms?

The current playtest build is for Windows PC. BLOCKFIRE also builds for macOS and Linux, and we’ll confirm platforms before each playtest.

What will we be playing?

Crystal Dominion on Ironworks, 8v8. Capture resource sites, escort your worker robots, build the Breach Bomb and blow open the enemy crystal. Crystal Siege, Team Deathmatch and offline Practice are in the build too.

Do I need a BLOCKFIRE account?

Yes, and your invite creates it in one step: pick a callsign and a password. Your free account tracks career XP, ranks, weapon stats and match history on official servers.

Can I stream or record?

We’ll share the rules for each playtest in the invitation email.
